Cosplay Plans:

Due to lack of planning and the fact that my Chun-Li is really played out I might just do a hugot-closet cosplay, meaning I'll just pick some stuff out of my closet and pair it with some wig.

I'll be taking a bus going there so I really cannot bring a lot esp. bulky costumes with lots of accessories. It'll be a 7-9 hour trip and I have to hang on to my stuff (last time, my stuff got stolen i.e. clothes, USB cradle, other electronics, etc). As of now I'm aiming for just one big backpack and that is it.

This actually wasn't in my plans. But seeing as deviantART will be there, heck, I cannot miss this!

Unfortunately, I don't know what days I'll be there but I will try to get in 2 days at the least. This is due to uncertainty of travel dates- and crash space! This is probably my most unplanned con to date.

Funny story: I was supposed to squeeze into 's friend's car on their way there. But I do not think that would be plausible given that it is a compact and there would be 5 of us + stuff going there + souvenirs coming back here.

I hope to be there on Saturday most of all since I really, really, REALLY want to see . *long sigh*

Anywho, I am looking forward to the scheduled sketching sessions dA will be holding and meeting the people behind this site.

We'll see what happens. What matters is I'll be there. Feel free to say hi if you recognize me.

I have been eating buffet every day for the past week. Not good. I gained like 8 lbs. It's horrible.

I don't mind having cheeks, but not the fat kind (unless on my butt). I want the chiseled kind. The cheeks on Kristin Kreuk, Daria Werbowy, Halle Barry and Angelina Jolie.

I used to have those kind of cheeks.. Then I had to gain weight.. Hurray for me.

It's funny how when I was really fit, people would go wild when they saw me, complimenting me non-stop about how great I looked. They badgered me insisting that I had probably gotten veneers or a new haircut, or was wearing upscale makeup and clothes. When I told them I had lost weight by working out, they slowly retracted their statements and said "Oh.. Well, you actually look kind of unhealthy..".

I find it sad that they wanted to hear some kind of "overnight success" story. When they knew the truth, that it was the result of hard work, they immediately felt threatened and belittled.

Lesson of this Post:

People will only compliment you if they feel they have equal chances of attaining what you have accomplished. Otherwise, they will either ignore your success or try to rationalize it according to their capability.

Oh, and eat healthy and exercise everyday.
